Return & Exchange Policies
Exchanges and Returns:
All are subject to prior approval. Materials returned without approval will be refused.
If you need to return an item, contact us to obtain an RMA number. Shipping will not be reimbursed and any shipping charges to return an item are the customer's responsibility (in the event an item is defective or arrives damaged the customer will not be responsible for shipping; see our warranty section for more information on this type of return).
No returns will be accepted for any reason after 60 days from the date of invoice.
Upon return of the goods in resalable condition, a merchandise credit will be applied to the account for use toward future orders.
Returns will be subject to restocking fees. The fee amount is based upon individual manufacturers' requirements and we have no control over it. Whenever possible these fees will be waived for the future purchase of replacement items. Requesting a cash refund of credit memos will result in the deduction of a mandatory restocking fee, NO CASH REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER 30 DAYS FROM THE DATE OF INVOICE.
Some products cannot be returned (unless defective); these include but are not limited to:
- Products not in completely resalable condition
- Most lead aprons and thyroid collars
- Markers that have engravings such as initials, numbers, etc.
- Products with an expired shelf life or an expiration date too short for resale
- Discontinued products
- Equipment that has been used or is without the original packaging, labeling and operating manuals.
- Any custom made product (i.e. embroidered aprons, custom positioning aids, etc)
Claims, Shortages, Missing items:
Must be reported to Eljay X-Ray, Inc. within 10 days of receipt of order. Shortages should be reported within 3 days of receipt of order.
For missing items, we will assist in any way reasonable and will provide tracking and proof of delivery if needed, but our responsibility ceases after providing proof of delivery. WE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THE COMPETENCY, HONESTY, OR INTEGRITY OF THE EMPLOYEES AT YOUR FACILITY.
Warranty/Damages in Shipment:
Any claim for damage to, or loss of merchandise must be made to the carrier by you. We will assist in any way possible, but our responsibility ceases upon acceptance by the carrier of the shipment. Retain all cartons and packing materials for inspection by carrier.
Please note that Eljay X-Ray, Inc does not manufacture any of the products. Warranties are between you, the purchaser, and the manufacturer of the products you purchase. We will do everything we can to assist you in any and all warranty claims including repair/replacement. But the process by which any warranty situation is handled is determined by the manufacturer and not by Eljay X-Ray, Inc.
